Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026 · Effective: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Innovation Solutions LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Landlord Command (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our property management software-as-a-service (“Service”). It applies to both landlords and tenants who use the Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
1.1 Information you give us
- Account information: name, email, phone, and password when you sign up.
- Property and tenancy data: property addresses, lease terms, tenant contact details, maintenance history, and documents you upload.
- Payment information: bank account or card details used to collect rent or pay your Landlord Command subscription. Card and bank details are processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); we receive only the last four digits and metadata sufficient to display the method to you.
- Communications: messages you send to support, feedback you submit, and content you share with tenants through the Service.
1.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and the device and browser you used.
- Log data: IP address, user agent, and request timestamps, kept for security and debugging.
- Cookies and similar: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics/advertising cookies from the third-party tools below.
- Meta Pixel:on our public marketing and sign-in pages (never inside the logged-in app) we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ad performance and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. It may set cookies and share limited event data (such as page views and sign-ups) and hashed identifiers (such as a hashed email or phone number, via Meta's Advanced Matching) with Meta to match activity to Meta accounts. It does not send financial, health, or government-ID data. You can opt out of interest-based ads through your Meta ad preferences and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, or by emailing privacy@landlordcommand.com. California residents may treat this as a request not to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Stripe: if you connect a bank account via Stripe Financial Connections, we receive account ownership, transaction, and balance data used for rent reconciliation.
- Google (for sign-in): if you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile to create or authenticate your account.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process rent payments, subscriptions, and other transactions you initiate.
- Send transactional messages (receipts, maintenance updates, notifications, tenant invites).
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your property, tenant, or financial data to train AI models for use outside the Service.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: Google Cloud Platform (hosting and storage), Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), email/SMS providers we use to deliver notifications, and Google Analytics / Microsoft Clarity / Meta for website analytics and advertising measurement.
- Between landlord and tenant: if you are a landlord, your tenants will see information you share with them through the Service (lease details, maintenance updates, payment history). If you are a tenant, your landlord can see the information you submit through the tenant portal.
- Legal:when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, your safety, or others’ safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will give you notice.
4. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@landlordcommand.com. Some information (such as transaction records required by tax law) may be retained for the period the law requires.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, scoped access controls, audit logging, and routine security review. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach that affects your data we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your account and personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications (you can unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@landlordcommand.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
We operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page tells you when the policy was last revised.
