Switching from DoorLoop?
Half the price. Elsie included. Same day.
DoorLoop is built for property management companies running multifamily, commercial, and HOA portfolios. If you're an independent landlord with 5–75 single-family homes, you're paying for features that don't apply to you — and their assistant is locked behind a Pro $149 add-on. Landlord Command is the opposite: purpose built for SFH landlords, Elsie included at $29.
No credit card required. Cancel any time.
No demo. No sales call. No per-seat tax.
Why SFH landlords are leaving DoorLoop.
Four patterns we hear from landlords looking to switch.
$840/yr for an entry plan with a 10-unit cap.
DoorLoop Starter is $69/mo and caps at 10 units. Hit unit 11 and you're bumped to Pro at $149/mo — an extra $960/yr. Landlord Command Solo covers 15 properties at $29/mo. Same coverage, $1,440/yr less than DL Pro.
Their assistant is a paid add-on on top of Pro.
DoorLoop's assistant ships as an “Add-On” on their Pro $149 and Premium $209 plans — there's no assistant on Starter at all. Elsie ships with every Landlord Command tier, starting at $29. Same frontier model under the hood. Better integration with your actual landlord workflows.
It's built for property managers, not owners.
DoorLoop's premium features lean toward HOAs, multifamily, and affordable housing: CAM reconciliation, owner-distribution invoicing, property-manager mode, affordable housing reporting. If you own 8 single-family rentals, you're paying for none of that and missing what actually helps you.
You can't try it without booking a demo.
DoorLoop's funnel runs through “Schedule A Demo” — a sales call, a follow-up, a quote. You don't see the product without a meeting first. Landlord Command: sign up, your 60-day Operator trial starts, you're collecting rent in under 5 minutes. No demo. No call.
The math, plainly.
Side-by-side at the tier you'd actually pick.
DoorLoop Pro
$149/mo
The tier most landlords end up on once they pass 10 units.
- • Unlimited units — but +$3/unit, billed even when vacant
- • Their assistant is a SEPARATE paid add-on, not included
- • Workflows + bank connect + QuickBooks ✓
- • No Schedule E report — assemble it by hand from a P&L
- • Passes card fees to your tenants; metered SMS credits
- • eSignature: $1 per document
- • Phone + Zoom support
$1,788/yr — and that's before the assistant add-on.
Landlord Command Solo
$29/mo
Built for the independent SFH landlord, Elsie from day one.
- Up to 15 properties (vs. DL's 10-unit Starter cap)
- Full Elsie Virtual Assistant — included at every tier

- Move-in / move-out inspections with signoff

DoorLoop is a solid product. It's solid for property management companies running 200+ doors across multifamily, commercial, and HOA. For an independent landlord with single-family rentals, it's the wrong shape — and you're paying for that shape every month.
Three steps. About ten minutes.
Here's the one-drop migration we're building — Elsie will parse your DoorLoop export and rebuild your account. Not live yet; today you can bring properties and tenants in with our bulk import.
Export from DoorLoop
In DL: run the Rent Roll, Lease Account Statements, and Transaction List reports and export each to Excel. Together they carry your properties, units, tenants, leases, balances, and payment history.
Drop the file into Landlord Command
Sign up for the 60-day free trial. On the welcome screen, choose “Import from DoorLoop” and upload your file. Elsie handles the rest.
Elsie does the parsing
She maps DoorLoop's fields to ours, asks clarifying questions when something is ambiguous, validates every record, and rebuilds your account. Typical 5–30 door portfolios: under 10 minutes.
Your data stays yours.
The import flow runs in front of you, step by step. We never touch your DoorLoop export without you watching.
60 days to decide.
Full Operator tier free for 60 days. No credit card required. Keep DoorLoop running side-by-side until you're confident.
Built for landlords, with landlords.
Landlord Command is built for one user — the independent single-family landlord — and pressure-tested with a real landlord advisor who runs single-family rentals day to day.
Questions before you switch.
Do I have to schedule a demo to try Landlord Command?
No. DoorLoop's funnel runs through “Schedule A Demo” — sales call first, product second. Landlord Command is the opposite: sign up at /signup, your 60-day Operator trial starts immediately, and you're collecting rent in under 5 minutes. If you want to talk to a human you can — but you never have to.
Is DoorLoop a bad product?
No — it's a strong product for the segment it serves. DoorLoop is built for property management companies that run 100–1,000+ doors across multifamily, commercial, and HOA. If that's your business, DoorLoop is a reasonable choice. If you're an independent landlord with 5–75 single-family homes, you're paying for a shape of product that doesn't match your operation.
Will my tenants need to re-enroll in autopay?
Yes — our rent collection runs on Stripe Connect direct charges, which means each tenant's autopay is tied to your bank, not ours. You can invite every tenant to re-enroll from the tenant portal, and most finish within 48 hours.
What about QuickBooks — do I have to redo it?
QuickBooks Online sync is on our near-term roadmap (Portfolio tier) — it isn't live yet. In the meantime, Landlord Command generates Schedule E and 1099 reports you can hand to your accountant or import at tax time.
How long does the full switch take?
Bringing your data in via bulk import takes minutes for typical 5–30 door portfolios. Allow another 48 hours for tenant autopay re-enrollment. By Day 3 you're fully running on Landlord Command. (A one-drop, Elsie-assisted migration from your raw export is coming soon.)
Can I keep my DoorLoop account active while I test Landlord Command?
Yes. Nothing about importing your DL export changes your DL account. Run both side-by-side for the 60-day trial. Cancel DL when you're ready — not a day sooner.
What features do I lose by switching?
If you actually use DL's CAM reconciliation, owner-distribution invoicing, or affordable housing reporting, those don't exist in Landlord Command — by design. We focus on independent SFH landlords. If you need those features, you probably shouldn't switch.
